Cartoon: Bugs Bunny and Looney Tunes, Disney's animation particularly their Renaissance era films, I mean there's so many cartoons I grew up watching. I loved Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, and a lot of Hanna Barbera's stuff. I also was exposed to DC Comics superheroes like Superman, Batman at a very young age.
Anime: Science Ninja Team Gatchaman (under the name, G-Force: Guardians of Space, it was also probably my first anime I've watched), Robotech: The Macross Saga, and Voltron (The Lion Voltron/GoLion)

Cartoons - there are many of them and you probably don't know them, since I'm not from USA nor UK.
As for anime - "Tonari no Totoro" a.k.a. "My Neighbor Totoro".
I apologize for my mistakes, because it's not my native language.

Pokémon (first two eras in English dub when I came to Europe. Though gonna rewatch them in Japanese version sometime soon)

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX (finished 4kids' dub, currently rewatching in original Japanese version)
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
Beyblade (finished some in English dub. Will start in Japanese version soon)
I watched everything above except Pokémon, Beyblade and Yugioh (DM & GX) in my native Asian dub, but they kept the Japanese OPs/EDs. Watched Yugioh 5D's in original Japanese version. Rewatched Digimon 01 & 02 in Japanese as well.

Taz Mania
Woody Woodpecker
Dexter's Laboratory
The World of David the Gnome
Animals of Farthing Wood
Avatar The Last Airbender
Batman the Animated Series
Superman the Animated Series
Static Shock
Justice League
Justice League Unlimited
Ben 10
Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines
Wacky Races
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!
SpongeBob SquarePants (seasons 1-3)
First four were seen in my native Asian dub, but I did see the original English version of these when I arrived in Europe.

As for cartoons, I liked Scooby Doo, Powerpuff girls, Noddy, Bob the Builder and Oswald. I completely stopped watching cartoons after I came across Animax which was a 24x7 anime channel.

No Japanese"anime" to be had here when I was a child. Only USA broadcast television; 3 national networks, PBS, and a local Spanish language station. Internet decades away. The word "Anime" would not even be coined until after I was married and had a child.

Same, only watched cartoons. The Wild Thornberrys, As Told by Ginger, Chicken Run [weird coincidence, all 3 have red haired protagonists]; and later ReBoot, Gargoyles and X-Men: Evolution.
