They say good things take time.So this baby better be AMAZING✨. It’s more than just the years we spent creating a meaningful experience for the locals in this cocoa shop. The Cocoa Project is decades of passion for #chocolate and #cacao, poured into this single place. People who know me for a long time know that I have always dreamt of working in the world of chocolate. After a few years in Vietnam, an encounter changed my life. I met Gricha in a bus to run a 35km trail in Dalat. That race took me much longer – and much further than I thought it would…Because we believe in building a culture of chocolate, we started off discussing making a Netflix series about chocolate & fermentation, then landed on the project of creating a chocolate museum in #HCMC (!!). Our business plan was proudly showcasing the growing number of tourists in #Vietnam… You know the rest of the story and what happened to the borders. And here we are, just at the beginning of a new journey. Our idea evolved, but at its core remains the desire to create an experience that will enable people to discover (or re-discover) chocolate. We want to bring not only quality, #sustainably 🌳sourced #cacaotrace chocolate. But also chocolate creations made specially for the Vietnamese taste. Chocolate for the people 😊The conclusion of this story is not to go run trail races to bump into your dream job (although it could be…). The conclusion of this story is that everything is possible in Vietnam! We are opening our doors for the very first time in the unique date of 22.2.22. Looking forward to meeting you at The Cocoa Project for a special chocolate moment together. ****The Cocoa Project143, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, D3, HCMCSoft opening hours - Tuesday-Sunday // 9-3pm

Even the best things sometimes come to an end …🏃🏻♀️My journey as General Manager of Grand Place Holding and The Cocoa Project is closing after five years, and what a ride … 💌 I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to create The Cocoa Project and bring it to life. To all the people I am endebted to, starting with the team that made this possible, to my close ones that supported me in this adventure, to those I have had the pleasure to meet and partner with along the way - from the bottom of my heart, thank you. There is truly no such experience as this one. Parting is always a bittersweet decision, even more so when you have maternal feelings towards your baby, err sorry, your project 😂 but I am very confident that the baby will walk on its own. The brilliant team at The Cocoa Project will grow this company to its full potential, and achieve our ambition to create something new and unique in the world of chocolate, a brand that creates a culture of chocolate in Vietnam. Chocolate for the People !🍫✍🏻As for my next chapter, I will be writing it in Europe, where I will come back after 8 years in Vietnam. More than ever, I wish to dedicate my passion and my energy to bring positive change to this planet that we live in. I will be spending the next few months in Vietnam enjoying life, and exploring the fascinating topic of sustainable food solutions and forest preservation 🌳 If you want to have a coffee chat and reinvent the world together, let’s meet up !

👨🎤 The best singers deserve the best stage! To launch this festive season, we made some home improvements at The Cocoa Project, and brought the spotlight 🌟that our products deserve. These changes bring us closer to our desire to introduce our unique products to the locals. 🍫 🌎 We believe that the love of chocolate is universal, but it is a fact that in #Vietnam chocolate is not yet part of the daily consumer habits – at least if we are talking about the ubiquitous chocolate tablet (or stack of tablets…) that every French person stores in their kitchen drawers. What if it is because the industry has not yet found the right way, the right application for Vietnamese people to enjoy #chocolate?🧐That’s why we are on our journey to find the product that they will love. We create, we test, and we adapt based on what we observe every day in our stores and how the local customers react to our chocolate coated pomelo skin, chocolate coated cashew nuts, iced chocolate drinks… Our product is at the heart of what we do.🚀So our concept and our team are leveling up to share the uniqueness of our chocolate creations. We keep on creating new experiences and hopefully you will enjoy the visit of this “shop in cocoa shop” as Gricha calls it next time you come on 143 Nguyen Dinh Chieu. The holidays are coming closer and you are sure to find something for your loved ones!Congrats to Quynh Nhi Olga Hoàng Trân Tuong Huu Tuan and the team for this beautiful achievement. Leveling up!#merchandising #chocolate #shop #continuousimprovement

How do you say “Chocolate for the People” in Thai? That was one of the many questions I had for Paniti and Nuttaya from Kad Kokoa Co., Ltd. as they honored us with their visit last week in Ben TreThis passionate couple dropped their corporate lawyer careers to chase their passion and become chocolate entrepreneurs. They built Kad Kokoa -THE bean-to-bar brand in Thailand. In just a few years, they developed their bean to bar process to reveal the unique flavors of Thai cacao in their exquisite chocolate. The quality of their chocolate and the creativity of their brand conquered the Thai market and you can find them in several Michelin restaurants and at Four Seasons to mention a few... And they don't plan to stop here. Most importantly, sustainability is also embedded in the way they develop Kad Kokoa and a prominent part of their actions from their waste management, to the way they build their local cacao supply chain and partner with local players such as Chulalongkorn University to develop research on sustainable cacao farming. The cacao supply chain is damaged, and we need to hurry to find solutions if we want to be able to enjoy guilt-free slave-free deforestation-free chocolate in the future. What if one of the solutions was to be found in Mekong? An inspiring encounter, hope to see you soon Paniti and Nuttaya!#cacao #chocolate #mekong #sustainability
